Ashlee and Tyler’s Reception at Solomon Farm Park, Fort Wayne Indiana
Ashlee and Tyler were married in a small family ceremony in June. Then they had their reception in July at the Solomon Farm Park in Fort Wayne Indiana.
Their day started with their attendants joining them at home to prepare, with ironing and helping each other to get dressed. The trolly picked them up for a tour and to deliver them to the venue. The reception included cake cutting, and cupcakes, with a little smashing! They danced and tossed the bouquet and garter. Their attendants teamed up for toasts.
Congratulations Tyler and Ashlee!

Kimberly and Eric Married in Wakarusa, Indiana
Kim and Eric met on line almost four years ago. They were engaged last year on a trip to Niagara Falls. They chose to have their ceremony and reception at Nelson’s Catering and Banquet Hall in Wakarusa Indiana. It was a very warm and sticky day in June, but their day was still perfect! Their favorite saying, “To the moon and back”, is inscribed on her moon necklace It was an emotional walk down the aisle for Kim, escorted by her mother. Their children as flower girl and ring bearer could not have done a better job!
After the ceremony we headed outside for some quick shots. The bridal party were wonderful about being out in the heat. We even did the “Toyota jump” shot! The beach theme cake was so cute! Games and tosses and wonderful Nelson’s Catering food was enjoyed by all who attended.
Thank you, Eric and Kim, for choosing White Tiger Photographic
Lucia’s Quinceanera in Lafayette Indiana
Lucia turned 15 with the love and support of her family and friends, and an awesome party! Her day started at home with hair and makeup. Her gorgeous pink dress made her look like a princess. When asked how many dresses she had to try on before finding the perfect dress, she said, “none!” She saw this dress while looking on-line and knew it was the one she wanted. And it was perfect for her special day. A Quinceanera signifies the transformation of a girl into womanhood.
We went to the train depot in Lafayette to do pictures and wait for the horse and carriage that would be picking up Lucia and her entourage. The cloudy sky made for a pretty background over the landscaping and train depot building. The carriage, from Indiana Carriage, pulled by Marty arrived and took Lucia and her sister and cousins for a ride around Lafayette. The drivers even treated them with ice cream along the way. We met up with them again at the Holiday Inn Lafayette-City Center where Lucia’s Quinceanera was to be held. The hotel has a grand stairway that is awesome for photos. We did group photos as family and friends arrived for the party.
After a delicious dinner, Lucia’s younger sister played “Happy Birthday” on her violin for her big sister. Then Lucia was seated on the dance floor and her oldest brother brought their mother a gift. It was a tiara which her mother placed upon Lucia’s head. Then her other brother brought their father another package. This one held high heeled shoes for The Changing of the Shoes where she shed her childish sneakers for the elegant high heels. She received her Last Doll from a cousin and another special gift from another.
After the ceremonies came the traditional first dances. She danced with her father, then the traditional waltz with her escort. The band El Principal played and the guests danced!
Congratulations, Lucia! Hopefully your mother’s heartfelt and inspirational message to you will help guide you during your life’s journey.

Ashley and Javarias (JJ) Married in South Bend Indiana
JJ knew Ashley was the one for him when they met in the Seventh Grade. It took a few years, but they finally were married at the Red Barn at St. Patrick Park in South Bend. They had hoped that it would be a cool Spring day for their wedding, but it was toasty and humid!
JJ and his guys got ready at the Private Cabin about a half mile from the barn. Ashley and her girls got ready in the air conditioned building at the Red Barn site. The wedding ceremony was held at the Gazebo. Ashley, JJ and their three children participated.in the sand ceremony as Ashley’s Father sang for them. We did some group photos at the gazebo then moved down by the river for some shad to finish up..
They had a wine bar under the pavilion. The reception was held in the Red Barn. It was warm and our bride took desperate measures to cool down! Nobody ever tells you how hot wedding dresses are!
Thank you, Ashley and JJ for choosing White Tiger Photographic to capture your special day!
A KISS and Tell Event!
Wendy and Don were married on a beach in Florida at the end of April. Since not all of their family and friends could attend the destination wedding, they held a reception in June at the Old Train Depot in Pierceton Indiana. Now, this wasn’t going to be just any reception for these two avid KISS fans!
We started out with some family photos out by the old train car. Then DJ Sonic Sound, Jason and Tami Smith got the party started with introductions and dinner. Then the cake cutting and smashing, first dances, belly bumps and tosses. After the Dollar Dance proved Wendy a winner, it was time to switch gears.
Don and Wendy share a passion for all things KISS! So, of course, they had to have KISS play at their reception! Well, “KISS Resurrection”. They were awesome and ROCKED the house! Even our DJ Jason geeked out! And don’t forget the confetti cannons! As the couple were introduced a confetti cannon blew multicolored confetti around the room. Then at the end of the KISS concert, the canons went off and rained down on the crowd.
Thank you, Don and Wendy for choosing White Tiger Photographic to capture your awesome party! Best Wishes and Congratulations!
