A Winter Wedding in Michigan City, Indiana
Our first wedding of the new year was on a blustery Friday at the Blue Chip Casino and Hotel. The weather caused a slight delay in the schedule, just to make sure all the guests had time to arrive.
Jordan and Garrett met at a swim meet in high school, and married 9 1/2 years later. Their adorable daughter, Beatryce was flower girl. Jordan’s brother, Tyler, walked her down the aisle. Her friend Neal was her Man-of-Honor and friends Erica and Antoinette were Bridesmaids. Garrett had his friend Dan as his Best Man and brother Derrick as groomsman. Their friend James acted as the officiant.
Jordan and her friends made the flowers for their ceremony archway, and had to figure out how to attach them and make the arch stay upright! Her Aunt Marie created the table decorations and the seating chart frame. A friend made their “guest book” out of a pallet. Jordan had her grandmother’s necklace attached to her flowers as her something “borrowed” and her grandfather’s handkerchief as something “old”. Her dress was her “new” and garter as the “blue”. After the ceremony we did photos in front of the arch, then went down to the casino for a few. We did some in the lobby under the awesome chandelier, then did a couple more at a slot machine, until we were told not to do that! Then we went outside into the snowstorm for a few snow shots.
After their wedding they spent their honeymoon on a cruise to the Bahamas.
Thank you, Garrett and Jordan for choosing White Tiger Photographic to capture your special, and snowy, day!
