We shot Travis and Kassidy’s Engagement in August. They are high school sweethearts that waited until Travis completed his service with the Marine Corps.
They held their ceremony and reception at Travis’ parents house. The girls prepared in the basement salon, the guys upstairs. Travis’ uncle was their officiant and the wedding was held in the back yard on a beautiful September day. Since their first movie together was watching Jurassic Park, they walked back down the aisle to the theme song. After the ceremony their families gathered together for photos. Then the bridal party, including the bridesmaids fawning over Travis’ ring!
The theme to the reception was of course dinosaurs! The cake was beautifully decorated, with claw marks through it! The cake toppers were a pair of dinosaurs in wedding clothes. Table decorations included painted dinosaurs holding prints from their engagement session. Each place setting had a mini dinosaur, and wonderful sugar cookies. During dinner Travis’ sister quietly sat behind him. He has always hated the way she eats corn on the cob. So, she made sure she chomped on an ear just for him!
During the Father/Daughter dance, we spotted Kassidy’s mother tearing up. Travis’ five aunts were very instrumental in raising him. So during the Mother/Son dance, each of them took a turn dancing with him.
Thank you Kassidy and Travis for choosing White Tiger Photographic to capture your special day!
