Erin and Morgan met in 2007 and dated on and off until 2016. Now four years later they have tied the knot! We met Erin and her mom at a South Bend bridal show in January. We didn’t have a chance to do an actual engagement session with them, so attended Erin’s Bridal Shower instead! Erin’s stepmother hosted the shower and her family and friends had a great time. They played several party games, including “Wedding Item Mix-up”, “Name that Cake”, and “How well does Erin know Morgan?” (we won’t tell!) The final game was Price is Right.
The day of the wedding we met Erin at the Celebration in Mishawaka Indiana. She and her bridal party took over one room of the building while the main room was decorated for the ceremony and reception. Their hashtag “Shew to Fish” stems from Erin’s maiden name, Shewmaker, and changing to “Salmon” (fish). How cute is that!
The bridal party included family and friends, even Erin’s little sisters Rowan and Reagan as a flower girls. The wedding ceremony was fun and touching. Afterward we took photos at the arbor they had set up for the ceremony. Also, a friend of theirs created the awesome chalk drawing for them, so we had to take photos there also. The hall was set up with social distancing in mind. Guests wore masks to the buffet line and as appropriate. Hand sanitizer was given as favors.
Thank you, Erin and Morgan for choosing White Tiger Photographic to capture your special day!
