Terry and Megan Are Having a Baby!-Fort Wayne Indiana Photographer

Terry and Megan Are Having a Baby!

We love it when our wedding couples come back to us to celebrate milestones in their life.  And celebrating a new baby is the very best of those milestones!

We went to Foster Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Foster Park was where Megan and Terry were married last year, so the Bridal Glen and surrounding gardens were the perfect place for celebrating the new life they have created.

Megan and Terry expect to welcome baby Naomi November 15.  We can’t wait to meet her!

Sacred Thread Ceremony-Warsaw Indiana Photographer

Paavan Dave’s Yagnopavit Sanskara – Sacred Thread Ceremony
The Sacred Thread Ceremony is how a boy of about nine years of age accepts his spiritual identity.  The ceremony is seen as a second birth, where he accepts a spiritual teacher as a second father and the “Vedas” as a second mother. The Vedas are the ancient Hindu texts, among the oldest sacred scriptures. During the ceremony, he receives his “janoi” or sacred thread, which he wears for the remainder of his life.
Paavan’s ceremony was held at the Stonehenge Golf Club in Warsaw Indiana.  Purvi, Paavan’s mother, is a personal friend and we were honored to have photographed his event. Purvi and Mayank (Paavan’s father) played an integral role during the ceremony. The priest who performed the ceremony is Purvi’s great-uncle, Anil Bhatt.  While Mr. Bhatt has been a priest in India for over 50 years, this was his first time officiating a thread ceremony.  He and his wife travelled from India to be part of this event.  This is their first time visiting the US.
The ceremony was attended by family and friends, who travelled from different parts of the country and all the way from India.  Symbolic to the shedding of his old life, Paavan’s head was shaved and his clothes changed.  He received generous gifts and blessings from all his elders.
While we didn’t understand much of what was going on during the ceremony, we are honored to have been a part of it.  Purvi’s family and friends were very helpful and gracious to us.  We even tried Indian food, which Eric liked;  Lynda, not so much!  The colors, symbols and traditions were glorious and beautiful to shoot.  Congratulations Paavan!

The Madison’s at ND!!

Madison’s at Notre Dame

We have been shooting this family for a while now! Their son was just starting to walk the first time we did a family shoot. Now look at him and his sister! They are getting so big!

Notre Dame is a great place to do their session. They are big fans and are passing on the tradition to the kids.

We love watching the kids grow up. Thanks for letting White Tiger Photographic be there to see them grow!

Baby Audric- Warsaw Indiana Children’s Photographer

Morgan and Chris welcome home Baby Audric

This wasn’t really a Newborn Session with Audric, since he is about two months old already! He just started life a little early and had to stay in NICU for a while so we had to wait to meet him. Mom Morgan and Dad Chris were joined by Grandma and Great Grandma for our session. We have known Grandmother Amy for quite awhile, and have watched Morgan grow into being the wonderful woman and mother she is today.

During our session, their cute dog wanted to join in, so we let him. Since his room has a Batman and Robin theme, we had to dress Audric in a Robin costume. Grandma Amy also thought a little Chippendale bow tie would be cute!

We can’t wait until we get to see little Audric again. Thanks, Morgan and Chris for sharing him with us!
